Torkel Knutsson

An encounter with Deep Torkel Knutsson probably feels like standing in the path of a freight train. He has a strong presence and a fierce creative energy that takes up a certain amount of room. We got to know each other through a couple of video projects via good friends, and it was a journey. Great fun and challenging. Torkel has worked with film and music for many years, and I'm just about tone-deaf.

It was two nerds meeting and feeling each other out. For me it was very rewarding. But it wasn't all about film and images. We also landed on other parts of life, the Serenity Prayer among them.

"God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference."

As for the divine, there are of course many ways to see and handle it. I choose to see the concept as a force within myself. Others see it in different ways — thankfully, that's up to each individual in our country.
