Mystery man in Munich

We met for 30 seconds. I asked if I could take a portrait — it was fine right then and right there. So, here is the result.

The picture was taken at the Schauburg theatre in Munich, where I was visiting my mate Peter Lindström's workplace. Peter told me there was a man in the neighbourhood who drove around in various fine cars. The special thing is that Speedy dresses up in matching attire to suit his choice of car. As we were chatting outside the theatre, the legend himself suddenly appears in person. I plucked up my courage and walked over.

It's unclear who Speedy is. One rumour leans towards a retired opera singer… Equally uncertain is his name. Speedy is sort of the working name in the neighbourhood. Either way, he's an impressive character whom I met and photographed in under half a minute.
