Emma

Emma grew up in a strict Christian home where the body was something to be tamed and desire was a sin. She has made a journey away from dogma and shame — into a life where closeness, sensuality and identity can be explored without fear.

We met in Linköping to work for a week on a project about growing up in a religious home, for an exhibition in Amsterdam. I got to see many different faces and emotions in Emma. Here are a few selected ones. I love that my profession has also become my hobby.
