Gerda Antti
We met in 1991, back when there was still film in the cameras and GPS went by the name of a road map. The trip took me to her farm outside Kisa.
That's where Gerda Antti lived — author, social commentator and, for many years, also politically active in the Centre Party. If she thought something was wrong, she said so. Straight and without frills.
She wrote with humour and a sharp eye for people and for a Sweden in change. The same gaze was there in our meeting. A quick smile, warmth — and a presence that stuck just as clearly as the image in the camera.
