Johan Berglund

This is the first time Johan really sits in front of my camera. We've made a music video together but never taken pictures like this. It turned into a conversation about appearance and life in general. A humble guy emerges; he collects African masks and plays drums like a god. We took the picture in the kitchen at Gåselöt, Gistad, with only natural window light.

A day or so afterwards he said this:

Thank you, Johnny, for a new experience. Thank you for persuading me to finally sit in front of you. It wasn't entirely easy or obvious, but you instilled a calm that somehow made me quite comfortable anyway. All credit to you!

There will be no more pictures now. RIP Johan.
