Eliska: Am I crazy? Yes. Crazy is my name. Am I afraid? Yes. Is it worth it? Yes.
Challenging yourself often begins right there—at the meeting point with fear. We so easily live inside our heads, caught in thoughts of everything that could go wrong. But fears are often lighter than we think. Like air. Let the wind take them, dissolve them. What remains is courage. What remains is love.

Eliska is driven by a constant desire to move forward, to keep looking ahead even when the ground feels uncertain. For her, the aerial hoop is not just a discipline within aerial acrobatics, but a way to explore boundaries—physical as well as mental. A single ring is rigged from the ceiling, and there, suspended between sky and ground, she meets fear with movement, strength, and trust. Every ascent into the hoop is a decision: to dare.

I have photographed the bridge in many forms. It has always had a particular pull on me, like a place of transition. This time, Eliska came with me, bringing her hoop and her courage. On the bridge, her drive to challenge herself met my gaze behind the camera. She does not step away from fear—she moves straight through it. To look forward is not about being fearless. It is about continuing anyway.
