A dog's life has ended

We didn't want a dog. But a good friend and colleague of Anette's said we ought to go and take a look at a dachshund that wasn't doing well in its family. We drove over and met a dachshund who was so frightened.. so terribly frightened of everything, and most of all of men. Of course she came along in the car. It took three months before she — who became Kicki — came up to me of her own accord. That was in 2012.
Gradually she grew more and more secure. But things were best of all with her mistress Anette, mother Barbro, and the little mistress.
Kicki came along on countless rounds of golf and learned that after nine holes she could often bark her way to a sausage. That tactic often worked in other places too….
Kicki the dachshund is rather keen on a taste…
It's over now. She was suddenly struck by some kind of nerve damage and had to end her life at home. She is missed.
